Anamitra is a women's rights activist with over three decades of experience in the impact space.

She has worked extensively with rural and urban communities across India, particularly in West Bengal, partnering with renowned NGOs like Swayam, CINI-ASHA, Sanlaap, and networks including Maîtree and North East Network. Her work spans community development, programs for women and children in red light areas, and inclusion of children with disabilities.

As an experienced trainer, Anamitra designs and facilitates workshops on gender, violence against women, women's rights, and sexual harassment at the workplace. She brings deep community knowledge and a commitment to creating spaces for learning and transformation.
